We celebrate our Real Bride Kristina and Trey. I met Kristina late 2016 and she was looking for a stunning gown to complement the beautiful venue in Tennessee. Her stunning wedding took place in September 2017. Check out some photos in her custom Galia Lahav gown. Congratulations Mr and Mrs. Reliford!!
Thank you Erin Lee Allender Photography for the images.
Bridal Market ended in October and now we have a list of trunk shows for brides to preview the new collections. I am noticing a demand of A-line wedding gowns as many designers have showcased stunning A-line gowns. Many brides have been complaining that bridal consultants are showing them ballgowns. So I decided to showcase the difference between an A-line gown and a ballgown. The styles both have the same silhouette but the volume makes the difference. Both are equally beautiful but I believe brides are looking for the modified A line look that can be flowly, sexy and easy to manage the day of the wedding. Let us take a look at some of the different bridal A-lines and Ballgowns.
A-Line: These dresses are fitted to the waist then flow to the ground in the shape of an uppercase “A”.
Ball Gown(Princess Gown): a floor-length dress to be worn to formal event and traditionally has a full skirt and fitted bodice.
Many brides are walking down the aisle with blue, blush and champagne gowns. Have you ever thought of black wedding gowns? Brides are stepping out of the norm and are searching for black gowns. I think black gowns are great for New Year’s Eve wedding, black tie or if you are requesting your guest to wear all white. Let us check out some of the stunning gowns from different designers.

For my NY Brides- You can find the collection at Bridal Reflections NYC Location
Galia Lahav knows how to keep it classy with the Juliana gown. Juliana embodies the spirit of strong architectural lines with the angular shapes and paneled V-neck front. Clean, structured and just enough bling. This is definitely the “it” gown. Available at Bridal Reflections NYC location.
Galia Lahav is really making a statement in the US. They recently opened a flagship store in Los Angeles, CA. Their sexy silhouettes and red carpet show stoppers are out of this world. I remember when I first saw the collection, I said the bride who wears their gowns has to be confident and daring.
With no surprise, J Lo graced the cover of People Magazine with an exclusive dress by Galia Lahav. She looks amazing with the lace up and feather ensemble. J. Lo stylist ,Rob and Mariel, did an amazing job.
NY is wrapping up Bridal Market Week and the Fall 2016 collections were amazing. From lace, silk taffeta, ballgowns and sexy mermaid looks, future brides will have so many wonderful options. One trend, I noticed were the crop top. If you a bride that appreciates a cute crop top with your outfit. This look is for you… See some of my favorites.
Over the weekend, I consulted with some brides who were interested in long sleeve wedding gowns. Many brides wanted to do something different from the sweetheart neckline. I remember growing up it was expected for brides to be covered because of religious purpose. Now, designers have created long sleeve silhouettes where the bride does not have to feel like she is following religious traditions or feel obligated to make their grandparents happy. We all know, grandma wants to see her baby pretty and covered. Brides are seeking to wear the long sleeve gowns to be sexy, elegant, regal and unique. Let us check to see some of the sexy long sleeve gowns.
