Bridal Market ended in October and now we have a list of trunk shows for brides to preview the new collections. I am noticing a demand of A-line wedding gowns as many designers have showcased stunning A-line gowns. Many brides have been complaining that bridal consultants are showing them ballgowns. So I decided to showcase the difference between an A-line gown and a ballgown. The styles both have the same silhouette but the volume makes the difference. Both are equally beautiful but I believe brides are looking for the modified A line look that can be flowly, sexy and easy to manage the day of the wedding. Let us take a look at some of the different bridal A-lines and Ballgowns.
Definition:
A-Line: These dresses are fitted to the waist then flow to the ground in the shape of an uppercase “A”.
Ball Gown(Princess Gown): a floor-length dress to be worn to formal event and traditionally has a full skirt and fitted bodice.
