Over the weekend, I consulted with some brides who were interested in long sleeve wedding gowns. Many brides wanted to do something different from the sweetheart neckline. I remember growing up it was expected for brides to be covered because of religious purpose. Now, designers have created long sleeve silhouettes where the bride does not have to feel like she is following religious traditions or feel obligated to make their grandparents happy. We all know, grandma wants to see her baby pretty and covered. Brides are seeking to wear the long sleeve gowns to be sexy, elegant, regal and unique.
