The time has come….. I was waiting for this day. Kelly Faetanini will unveil her eponymous bridal collection during New York International Bridal Week, April 14 to 16, 2012.
Kelly was chosen to launch and design a new collection, Jewel by Priscilla of Boston, which focused on the youthful princess bride. Last year, I had an opportunity to meet Kelly during bridal market. Her designs for Priscilla of Boston were innovative, young, modern, and romantic. Her collection is destined to be the same but ten times better.
Preparing for her own wedding in May,Kelly is designing her own gown,and this experience has given her a deeper understanding of the value and of custom creation. So ladies, you too will have an opportunity to custom make your own Kelly Faetanini gown. The collection will feature twelve to fourteen gown styles in lightweight fabrics including soft satins, organza, tulle and lace. Ball gowns, A-line, fit-and-flare and mermaid skirts will all be represented as well as various neckline shapes.
The Kelly Faetanini brand will focus on customization selections. Each bride will be able to work with their bridal salon to create her dream gown. Skirt lengths can be shifted, beading can be added or removed and other unique treatments will be offered.
I may not be getting married this year….. but I am going to get my own custom made gown. I am looking forward to see the new collection.
